As soon as we walked in the door, Darwin was super excited we were back and after excited greetings (at 1am mind you) she went straight for our bags trying to find what we brought her. (Whenever we walk in the door carrying anything, she goes straight for it assuming it's for her.)
As with any stuffy that has those hard plastic eyes, those were the first to go.
Once those beady eyes were out of the picture she could relax.
I think once we move all of Darwin's eyeball-less toys will get dumped, but for now they take up space in her toy box for her occasional destuffing.
Hi Darwin, cool toy. We don't like beady eyes either. That along with anything else that sticks out is gone too.

Cool Stingray! I (BRD) would have de-eyeballed it first thing too. We have gotten to the point where if a package arrives here and it's NOT for us we are so very disappointed. Hey, we're the kids!!

ReplyDeleteWoo! What a cool toy, Darwin! How does it taste? Our mom and dad ate a sting ray once, in France. Mom said it made her want to horka, but she's kind of goofy like that. Slimy, rubbery and fishy-tasting sounds great to me!
