This was Darwin and her brother Boo's first official play date.  Boo's mom came and picked up Darwin from our office (she's so nice) and off they went for a full day of playtime.  Boo's mom even sent a few pictures throughout the day to update us.

Darwin was brave enough to test out the kiddie pool...

They played with Boo's brother, Gino.

They napped together.

And towards the end of the day, Darwin built up her courage to actually get in the pool.  

Boo still wasn't ready for pool time and just circled it and barked at Darwin.

When we picked her up at the end of the day she was nice and pooped.  So, since we had a pooped puppy and a sunny early evening, we decided to stop by Alki Beach and get a drink outdoors.
We found a little pizza place with lots of outdoor seating, and while Jason and I had our beers, Darwin entertained herself in the sand.

We love that we have been able to keep in contact with at least one of Darwin's siblings and that they get to hang out at least a few times a month.
