Darwin did really well being off leash even when we passed other dogs. I think she was more excited about being in the snow than seeing other dogs.
I did manage to almost lose my hat (it was hot so I put it in my pocket and it fell out) but some nice people walking behind us pointed it out. I did lose my lens cap though... not quite sure how. And we lost Darwin's tags somehow too! Oops!
After some "off the main trail adventures" (a lot of sliding on our butts and trying to stay upright) we took a little break. We had an energy bar, while Darwin snacked on an apple.
We all had a blast and are planning our next snowshoe adventure.
Oh I luvs the last picture!

What beautiful pics!! Looks like a great day for snowshoeing. Like the last pic of Darwin checking out the scenery. We had some good times in the area of Gold Creek Snowshoeing too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

Amazing pictures! Looks like it was a perfect day for some exercise and fresh air. And the great thing about bringing Darwin is that if you get tired, you could just ride her back. :)

Darwin,
ReplyDeleteSomebody gave PeeWee that giant tennis ball as a pressie, so we don't really know where it came from. To be hones, I don't much care for it myself, but PeeWee will chase anything.

Hello Darwin
ReplyDeleteI'm Zola the Rhodesian Ridgeback & its very nice to visit your blog. The pictures of you in the snow are beautiful and show off your stunning colour and sparkly eyes. There's no snow where I live - but I've hear we might be going to mountains soon....brrrr! Did you need a coat? Did your paws get cold?..Did you like to eat the snow? Sounds too cold for me...brrr! I'm pleased I have found your blog.
paw bash to you,
Zola
