{20jan2011: smile...}

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds, in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile, through your fear and sorrow
Smile, and there'll be tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through
If you'll....
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear, may be ever so near,
That's the time, you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you'll just....
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear, may be ever so near,
That's the time, you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you'll just....
Smile

The dog blog world lost a very special girl, and as her mom said "she wouldn't want a lot of sadness spread among the blogs", so instead of crying we should do what Ammy has taught us to do... smile.

  3. Oh Darwin - I've been so out of touch with what's been happening with my blog friends...what sad news about Ammy!! :-(

Sorry I've not been visiting in so long - we actually still don't have internet in our new home yet(!) - the stupid phone company says we have a problem with our line and won't be online till the first week of Feb! - so my humans have bought a little mobile WiFi but it's not superfast...but I'm slowly coming round to visit my friends now...you're first! :-) And I've enjoyed catching up with all your posts - wow, just LOVED that snow adventure you went on. Wish I could have come too! Oh, and I'm sorry about your ear! Hope it's all better now. Your brother, Boo, too. I like to chew up tennis balls as well and it makes my humans worried althoug so far, I always spit all the bits out! :-)

Like you, I BALLED my eyes out when I read the blog. so sudden for me. i felt like i lost a family member. odd, i know. i don't always comment on blogs but i do keep up or check in regularly. and i feel so close to mostly everyone but especially those pups. sigh. big sigh. more tears. nice dedication and reminder to smile.

  5. Friends had been kind enough to share Ammy's diagnosis and then her crossing -

We kept her in mind this past Sunday when my transport included a special Pibble named Amber -

Thanks for the special post -
