{25march2011: fun with Friday RESULTS!}

Thanks to everyone who took a guess in our Fun with Friday Contest.  After three weeks, the results are in!
Are you ready to find out what makes up this cutie patootie?!



They traced her all the way back to her great grandparents.
They even included pages with descriptions of the three main breeds: German Shepherd Dog,  Labrador Retriever, and German Shorthaired Pointer.
I was kind of disappointed that they couldn't break down the "mixed breed" side a bit more, but I was surprised about the German Shorthaired Pointer!
Sadly, no one guessed her mix exactly so we couldn't award a prize to a correct guesser.  Instead we threw all your names in and Darwin pulled a random winner!

And the winner is:  Mango!

    Hmm how very interesting! We think we maybe able to see a bit of German Short Haired Pointer there :)

    I wonder if anybody with a Pure Bred Breed sent off just for fun and got an unexpected suprise?! :p

    i definitely see the shepherd and the lab, and maybe the pointer is in the ears? also, the physical characteristics are not always obvious . . . how fun! thanks!

    Aweee. MAN! so close. I'm always a bridesmaid when it comes to contests. phoo! ;)
    i guessed GSD, would have guessed lab, but something said boxer. but the pointer is fascinating.

    i don't hold a lot of stock in these. they don't have nearly all the breeds in the dbase that they should. i won't even say what loki came out as! LOL
