{23july2010: flashback Friday}

Last year Darwin and I went for a walk.  We stopped at a pet store and I bought her a treat for walking so well.  She decided she wanted to carry it the whole way home.

We also realized after she ate this treat how gassy they make her.  UGH.

  1. You look so HAPPY!!!! I love that last picture especially!
    My great-brother Booter used to love to carry sticks on our walks or sometimes this special stuffed duck. He was totally adorable that way.

  3. That is so cute! Our last Newfie had to carry a duck in his mouth for the entire walk. EVERYDAY! Of course, yours is more impressive as you could of eaten it!

  4. Wow - we have never been able to carry one of those and not just stop and chew. But we do love the huge smile.

  5. Oh yeah. Bully sticks. Great going down, not so great a few hours later.

  6. Hehehe....but they are SO worth it right Darwin! ;) Good job on relaxing at the restaurant...my pawrents were amazed the first time I did this too. They never really trained me...it just came with maturity. :) I loved the picture of your flying ears when you were running at the park...it was fun catching up on your blog. It looks like you have been having a terrific summer. Thanks for your well wishes...I can't imagine not doing zoomies. I hope I can still do them after all of this.

  7. Aw...how sweet! That's something I'm actually trying to teach Honey - to carry something in her mouth and walk with me. She'll fetch things back to me but to actually carry it in her mouth...nah! :-) How cool that Darwin will do it on her own!
