{27mar2010: thank you!}

We got an award from Mack and Mia!!!

Thanks Mack and Mia!
Now we have to pass it on to 12 more friends and let them know about it.
So here's our 12 in no particular order:
1.  Moose our very first blog friend!
2.  Twinkie our very first tiny dog blog friend!
3.  Remi our handsome little (getting bigger) Ridgeback pal who we hope we can have another play date with soon!
4.  Nala Remi's sister who's a fun playdate friend too!
5.  Honey the beautiful fawn Dane who's mom Hsin-Yi always gives great advice
6.  Baby Rocket and Hootie whom we met through their sweet and generous mom
7.  Mr B and Ms M our first pitty friend's who have the cutest cuddling pictures
8.  The Army of Four, Ammy always has such a big smile in her pictures that I love!
9.  Jack who may be one of the funniest doggy bloggers
10.  Duchess, beautiful Merle Dane with some great stories
11.  Mochi our Husky friend who comes from my home state of Hawaii
12.  Mango (and Dexter), the greatest host of Mango Minster and his funny brother too!

Wow a list of 12 is a lot of doggies!

  7. Aw...thank you so much for the award, Darwin - am honoured!! :-)

By the way, I LOVED the photo of you holding your Easter card - SO cute! And Hsin-Yi was so impressed coz she's been trying to train me to hold things like that for ages but I'm not very good - I tend to only like to hold soft things, like stuffies!

For the games - have your humans tried the "Scavenger Hunt" game around the house? Hsin-Yi used to play this with me a lot when I was younger. She would ask me to wait in one room (eg, bedroom) - good practise of the Wait or Stay command! - while she went and hid treats in various places around the house - and then she'd come back and release me ("OK!") and then tell me to look for the treats. I;d have to use my nose and i'd get really tired doing this. In the beginning, they put the treats in easy places until I got the hang of the game - but then they started making it more difficulty, like putting treats higher up (not at ground level) and behind cushions and things - it was great! I love this game, although in my case, the only problem was I slobbered and left slimey drool everywhere I went looking - so my humans had a big clean-up after me - but maybe you don't slobber as much as I do! Anyway, if you havent' tried this game - tell you humans to give it a try! Great for keeping a puppy busy and low impact and gives the brain a workout too! (if you're on dry kibble, they could use part of your dinner for this game).

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane
